On the other hand, if a customer has been using the services of the company for many years, then a different strategy must be adopted. Such customers deserve more customized gifts, which gives importance to their likings and display that you have great regard for them. You can also demonstrate how much you treasure your relationship with the client by gifting a plaque, which is always very effective.
It is very important that the same gift is not presented more than once to a client. If the gifts become repetitive, they lose their influence on clients. For example, if a calendar has already been gifted to a customer, the next time opt for a different item like a pen stand. But the gift should be attractive both in terms of aesthetics and functionality.
An inferior quality gift can damage the reputation of the company, so never compromise on this aspect. At the same time, you need to keep an eye on your expenditure. While it is nice to be generous, you must never overspend. You will give rise to expectations of an equally expensive gift in future, which is not a sensible idea.
