Today’s super hot topics are: NCAA Baseball Regionals 2009 and NCAA Baseball Rankings 2009, people are wondering what’s the hottest news about them, of course I’m highly concerning that too, so let’s find out what hot together.

LSU takes the top overall national seed in The College Baseball Blog’s final regional projections. The Tigers lost their first game of the SEC Tournament but have battled back and will be taking on Vanderbilt for the SEC Tournament Championship on Sunday. This is a very interesting game, we love it.

The Texas Longhorns come in as the number two overall seed followed in order by Arizona State, Cal State Fullerton, North Carolina, UC Irvine, Florida State, and Rice.

There are a few games to be watching if you are a team on the bubble. Louisville and UConn meet for the Big East championship, and a UConn win would take away an at-large bid from the field.

  1. George Hall says:

It’s right darn sorry that the Virginia Cavaliers win the ACC championship and don’t even get to host a regional. They beat three hosting teams in route to winning the championship. They also had a better record than Georgia Tech. To top it off they get sent out to California to compete against Cal Irvine and defending champion Fresno St.. What a crime!!
